A Flicker of Cornish Charm

There’s nothing quite like the warmth of a highly scented, flickering candle on the mantlepiece during a stormy night in Cornwall.

What began as a humble hobby—experimenting with eco-friendly wax, wicks, and the perfect balance of essential and fragrance oils—soon turned into a passion. My kitchen became overrun with tins, pots, and candles burning in every room. Friends and family were gifted candles at every birthday and Christmas until I discovered the local craft community.

Today, I sell hand-poured candles at fairs and shows across the county. My range has expanded to include eco-soya wax melts, soaps, reed diffusers, and continues to grow. While I still work from home, I now have a much more organized space, though there’s always a candle or burner burning with a new scent on test.

We’re committed to being as eco-friendly as possible. Our vegan, natural soaps are all made with essential oils, handcrafted in our home-based workshop.

As for hubby, he’s now part of the process—researching cold process handmade soaps. He’s become Old Grumpy, using traditional methods and only the finest oils and scents to create a growing range of long-lasting soaps.
